<p><!--block-->Darcie began her career with KinderCare in 1997 as a Preschool Teacher. She headed a training classroom and was recognized as an Honor Teacher. In 2001, she became a Center Director in our Cleveland Market. Darcie transferred to the Polaris location in 2003 and has been the Center Director there for more than 13 years. Darcie has supported NAEYC accreditation standards as both a teacher and as a center director, leading her team through accreditation and maintaining accreditation. Darcie is an Accreditation and Programming Quality Team Leader for KinderCare and supports her district with accreditation, providing high-quality programs.</p>
<p><!--block-->Maggie began working for KinderCare at our Powell location in 2007. About a year later, she moved to Nashville, transferring to the Franklin KinderCare. She worked there for seven years as an infant teacher. Maggie also taught the ABC Music and Me program in her center. She has ten years of experience working with children as a nanny and in childcare centers. In May 2014, Maggie transferred to our location and began working in our infant program before moving to our preschool program in 2015. Maggie is a musician and incorporates music in her teaching every day when teaching the Music Adventures program for children two to five years old at our center. She has completed the Child Development Associate Prep program at Rasmussen University and has numerous hours of training in Early Childhood in-service. She has taught classes to her peers, as well. </p>
<p><!--block-->Megan earned a Bachelor degree in Special Education and began her career by participating in an internship teaching elementary special education. She worked with special needs adults with Delaware County Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities before coming to KinderCare. Megan started in our toddler program and was soon promoted to Infant and Toddler Program Specialist and then Assistant Director. She has experience with teaching our Math, Phonics, and Reading Learning Adventures programs, as well. Megan is currently working with infants while she attends Columbus State. Her favorite part of her job is seeing the children grow and learn each day.</p>
<p><!--block-->Ms. Jess has worked with children infants through school age. She has completed college coursework for the Child Development Associate credential and is just a few classes from her Early Childhood Education Associate degree. Jess has two children of her own, and has worked in childcare for more than 10 years. Her vision for the children in her program is for them to gain independence and to grow into intelligent young children in a safe and caring environment. She gives children lots of opportunities for hands-on exploration and allows them to learn at their own pace. Her classroom is a hub of creativity! </p>
<p><!--block-->Miss Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University. She previously worked as a Teacher's Aid at Ohio State University child care center. She began her career with KinderCare at a Dublin location and then transferred to the Polaris location in 2017. In her free time, Miss Andrea enjoys watching sports, listening to music, watching movies and being outdoors. Her vision for the children in her program is for them to have lots of fun while learning new skills in a safe, nurturing environment. She loves seeing a child reach an important milestone and playing a part in their development.</p>
